Bagi para pencinta mobil balap, mungkin seringkali mengikuti perkembangan dunia mobil baik lewat TV, Surat Kabar, ataupun internet. Postingan kali ini, tidak hubungannya dengan dunia blogging ataupun internet umumnya tapi saya akan memberika daftar top 10 mobil tercepat pada tahun 2010 ini. Baiklah, berikut daftar 10 mobil tercepat didunia pada tahun 2010.

1. SSC Ultimate Aero

Base price is $654,400
257 mph, 0-60 in 2.7 secs.
Twin-Turbo V8 Engine with 1183 hp
Tested in March 2007 by Guinness world records,
The SSC Ultimate Aero takes the lead as the fastest car in the world beating Bugatti Veyron

2. Bugatti Veyron

Base price is $1,700,000
253 mph, 0-60 in 2.5 secs.
Aluminum, Narrow Angle W16 Engine with 1001 hp
Not only does this car hold the highest price tag,
it held the fastest speed for several years.

3. Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo

Base price is $555,000
248 mph, 0-60 in 3.2 secs.
Twin Turbo All Aluminum V8 Engine with 750 hp
I saw this one at the car show, man what a sweet ride.
For some reason though they wouldn’t let me take it for a test drive.

4. Koenigsegg CCX

Base price is $545,568
245 mph, 0-60 in 3.2 secs.
90 Degree V8 Engine 806 hp
Made in Sweden, it is aiming hard to be the fastest car in the world,
but it has a long way to go to surpass the Bugatti and the Ultimate Aero.

5. McLaren F1

Base price is $970,000
240 mph, 0-60 in 3.2 secs.
BMW S70/2 60 Degree V12 Engine with 627 hp
These are some very interesting and weird doors.

6. Ferrari Enzo

Base price is $670,000
217 mph, 0-60 in 3.4 secs.

With only 399 ever produced,
their value goes up everytime one crashes.

7. Jaguar XJ220

Base price was $650,000
217 mph, 0-60 in 3.8 secs.

I’ve never been a big fan of Jaguar,
but I’ve also never driven one that cost over half million.

8. Pagani Zonda F

Base price is $667,321
215 mph, 0-60 in 3.5 secs.
Mercedes Benz M180 V12 Engine with 650 hp
This one looks like it belongs on the track,
not on the street. However I’d love to drive it.

9. Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

Base price is $430,000
211 mph, 0-60 in 3.3 secs.

I love the smooth sleek look of this car,
very low and very smooth.

10. Porsche Carrera GT

Base price is $440,000
205 mph, 0-60 in 3.9 secs.

This is the most powerful and most expensive Porsche,
yet it still barely made the top 10 list.

About how long has the ek squad been around

For a little over 2 years now.
Did you ever imagine that the ek squad would have gotten as big as it has? No, I never thought the EK SQUAD would ever be as big as it is today. I can remember back when we had our first 10 members and I thought that was a lot of people. It was fun seeing the group grow and the response from people as the association was made. Once I started sending stickers out to all over the US and International, I knew the EK SQUAD was blowing up.

What do you hope happens with the ek squad in the future?
I hope we continue to grow with new members and new ideas. It’s great seeing fellow EK SQUAD members being featured in magazine articles, at shows/meets and I hope we see more of that.

What do you look for when recruiting a member?
The first thing I look for are clean hatches that stand out from the rest. I look for owners who are dedicated to their projects. I like to get a feel for what they have done and what they plan on doing in the future. All of our cars are constant works in progress and I try to look for people who exemplify what the EK SQUAD stand for.


And any people you would like to give thanks to or any last words, advice???
I'd like to give thanks to every member of the EK SQUAD, past and present, and to those who support us. Without you, the EK SQUAD would not be what it is today. My advice would be to keep building your hatches, and have fun and enjoy them. I know I can’t stop thinking about what I want to do next with mine.
